HOW DO I REGISTER FOR A SKILL CAMP?

Online registration accepted only:  All registrations must be completed online (click on the individual camp page registration).   Forms of payment accepted: credit card (enter information at "check-out"), check or money order (payable to UNI Volleyball Camps - follow online check-out instructions).  If paying with check/money order, you will be required to complete all registration information (along with the Medical Release and Waiver information) online!  YOUR REGISTRATION IS NOT COMPLETE UNTIL ALL PAYMENT AND FORMS HAVE BEEN COMPLETED!

HARD COPY REGISTRATION IS NO LONGER AVAILABLE FOR UNIVB CAMPS! 

HOW DOES MY TEAM REGISTER FOR TEAM CAMP?

ONLY A COACH OR TEAM REP is allowed to register a team for camp (valid CC, only).  Once your Coach/Team Rep has registered a team(s) for camp, they will receive a confirmation email, which will include a weblink to our ONLINE RELEASE AND MEDICAL AUTHORIZATION FORM. .  ALL CAMPERS MUST COMPLETE THE ONLINE "RMI" FORM BEFORE PARTICIPATION IN ANY UNI CAMP!

CAN I WALK-IN THE DAY OF CAMP AND REGISTER?  NO  WALK-IN REGISTRATION IS NO LONGER AVAILABLE.    All registrations must be completed online prior to camp.  Call (319) 273-6480 with questions.

WHERE IS CAMP CHECK-IN?  Below is a list of check-in times and locations for each camp.  ALL RESIDENT AND COMMUTER CAMPERS will check-in at the location listed below.  Click on the "Maps, Directions and Parking" link for additional check-in parking, directions, and a UNI campus map.

CAN I CHOOSE MY ROOMATE?  YES,  YOU WILL NEED TO CHECK-IN TOGETHER.  Due to the dorm hall fire code, no more than two campers will be allowed per room.  If more than two campers would like to room near each other, we recommend that all campers should check-in together.  We will try and accommodate this request, but we cannot guarantee this, due to limited room availability.

DO I NEED TO COMPLETE THE RELEASE AND MEDICAL AUTHORIZATION FORM (RMI) ONLINE?  YES!!  All campers must have a parent/guardian complete the ONLINE RELEASE AND MEDICAL INFORMATION FORM - NO EXCEPTIONS WILL BE MADE!!    All campers must also have medical insurance to participate!    

WHAT DO I NEED TO BRING TO CAMP?

     ALL CAMPERS:  Volleyball gear: athletic shoes, knee pads, spandex/shorts, socks, t-shirts, and a water bottle.

     RESIDENT CAMPERS:  Swimsuit, beach towel, bathroom items and toileteries (soap, shampoo, toothpaste, etc.).    A FAN FOR YOUR DORM ROOM.  The gym is air conditioned, but the dorms do not have A/C!

IS THERE A CAMP STORE?  The UNI Volleyball Camp store will be open throughout camp, including check-in and check-out.  Campers are encouraged to bring extra spending money to purchase unique UNI gear, which includes t-shirts (long and short sleeve), sweats, shorts, spandex, hoodies, knee pads, and volleyballs 

CAMPER DROP-OFF AND PICK-UP? ALL RESIDENTS AND COMMUTERS CAMPERS WILL CHECK-IN FOR CAMP AT THE LOCATION (LISTED ABOVE)!

     RESIDENT CAMPERS:  Once camp starts, Resident Campers will not be allowed to leave campus between sessions, unless a parent or guardian is the one to pick up the camper (drop-off should be 15-20 minutes prior to the next session - check your camp schedule).  Resident pick-up at the end of camp will be at Campbell Hall, once each camper has checked-out of their room and returned the key (note: parents are welcome to attend the last hour of camp; most skill camps will finish with some type of competition.  All camps will conclude in the WRC, Court 2)

     COMMUTER CAMPERS: Once camp starts, Commuter campers can either chose to stay on campus, or leave between sessions for meals.  If a Commuter is leaving campus (being picked-up by a parent/guardian, or driving off campus) between sessions, they should return to the WRC 15-20 minutes prior to the start of the next session (check camp schedule).  The UNI Camp Staff is not responsible for Commuter Campers if they chose to leave campus between sessions for meals.  If a Commuter Camper is driving off campus, please let your court coach know where you will be eating your meal.

Where do I park?  If you are driving yourself to camp (resident and commuter), you will need to purchase a parking pass for $2.25/day.  Parking passes can be purchased at check-in.  Parents who wish to observe the training session, should purchase a parking pass at check-in for $2.25/day, or use the metered parking stalls directly west of the WRC (2 hour limit).  All parking passes must be hung from your rear view mirror!  The UNIVB Camps are not responsible for any parking tickets received for expired meters, parking without a pass, or not displaying a purchased pass properly!

MEALS?  

     RESIDENT CAMPERS:  Meals are provided during camp with your registration fee (Residents are also encouraged to bring extra money for snacks and/or pizza, delivered to the dorms after the evening session). Resident Campers will not be allowed to leave campus for any meal, unless a parent/guardian picks the camper up from campus, and a UNI Volleyball staff member is notified.                   

     COMMUTER CAMPERS: Meals are not provided for commuter campers, except for the following day-camps: LIBERO, SETTER, and All SKILLS (dinner only).  Commuters must provide their own meals (except for the camps listed above).  A sack lunch/dinner may be brought to camp (campers staying in the gym for lunch will be supervised).  During overnight camps, Commuters may also purchase (cash only) a meal at the UNI Dining Center (Lunch/Dinner $9.95 - cash only).  There are also many fast food and sub shops near campus.  The UNI Camp Staff is not responsible for commuter campers who leave campus for meals - Commuters should return to the WRC 15-20 minutes prior to the start of the next session.

ARE THERE CHAPERONE'S IN THE DORMS?  Yes.  UNI Camp Staff will be staying in the dorms providing supervision during overnight skill camps. 

CAMP CHECK-OUT?  

RESIDENT CAMPERS must check-out of their dorm following the last session of camp (5:00 p.m.).  All dorm rooms must be cleaned, and KEYS RETURNED TO UNI HOUSING before leaving UNI.  Lost keys will result in a $25.00 fee!  

COMMUTER CAMPERS are allowed to leave following the last session of camp.  All Skill camps will finish in the WRC (Court 2, upstairs)

CAN A PARENT/GUARDIAN WATCH A SESSION?  Absolutely!  We encourage all parents to stop by camp and watch your daughter/son train during camp.  All final sessions of each camp include competitive play, so parent's are welcome to watch  Spectators must bring their own folding chairs.  Parent's attending a session, must purchase a parking pass at check-in, or park in metered spaces (except on weekends).  Handicapped parking will be enforced at all times.
